Editor/Production Coordinator

The Division is seeking applicants for a vacancy as a Editor/Production Coordinator (Legal Publications Editor).

As an Editor/Production Coordinator, you will proofread and edit materials submitted by state agencies for publication

by the Office of the Registrar of Regulations for accuracy, clarity, syntax, grammar, style, and formatting, and coordinate with the state agencies on the publication of the materials submitted. This position requires the ability to work in a nonpartisan manner in a partisan environment and provide objective information regardless of the issue or personal opinions. Specifically, you will perform the following functions:

  • Prepares content for publication through discussion with agency personnel regarding their editorial needs.
  • Proofreads and edits material submitted by other state agencies for publication.
  • Establishes and monitors production schedule and resolves production problems. 
  • Oversees and approves layout and printing to ensure accuracy, quality, and deadline compliance.
